Final SING of 2011 - Don't Miss It!

Join us at The Best of SING! SING! SING!, with over 20 great songs that have been audience favorites from our previous group-sing events.

The date is Tuesday, October 25 at 7 p.m. at the beautiful Triad, 158 West 72nd Street in on New York's upper West side between Broadway and Columbus Avenue. The Triad is one flight above the Turkish Grill Restaurant. (An elevator is available for those who are unable to use the stairs.)

Called “a gentle rally of spirits,” “great therapy,” and “so uplifting,” SING! SING! SING! is co-hosted by Anne Phillips and Michael Shepley, who provide piano and anecdotal accompaniment, respectively – it’s the audience that makes beautiful music. Lyric sheets are provided to keep everyone happily in sync.

The Best of SING! SING! SING! will include songs that past audiences have really enjoyed, from “Another Op’nin, Another Show” to “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah,” with others like “Indian Love Call,” “People Will Say We’re in Love,” “That Old Black Magic,” “These Foolish Things,” and “Young At Heart” in between.

SING! SING! SING! is an East Coast adaptation of a Los Angeles tradition begun by Judy Wolman. Previous SING! events in New York – 18 in all since early 2009, have included tributes to Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Oscar Hammerstein II, Frank Loesser, MGM musicals, Nat King Cole, and different themes like singing, dancing, and travel.

Admission includes a $10 cover and 2-drink minimum (cash only, please). Reservations are strongly suggested; call 212-786-9064. General seating; doors open at 6:30 p.m. Shows are at least 90 minutes and sometimes run longer. Subway: 1, 2, 3 to 72nd Street. Questions? Email shepleypr@aol.com
